Uber: This is what I use mainly in english speaking countries to get around the city at a low cost.
Grab: This is what I have been beginning to use internationally because they have this chat function that helps you communicate with the driver via text. Its like the Uber of Asia, works great when there is a language barrier. This was my primary way of getting around in places like Thailand, Philippines, and any other places that had this app available.
