Step 1: Smile

So many people wake up depressed and sad. Can you imagine what the rest of your day would look like if you constantly lived life through those filters? Screw that.

Wake up and smile. You are alive. Be grateful for that.

Step 2: Jump out of bed

Ever been guilty to pressing the snooze button once or twice.. or maybe 13 times? Jumping out of the bed convinces your mind that you are excited for the day ahead.

Step 3: Meditate for 10 minutes

For those that haven’t meditated before its a little strange at first but here is the low down on what to do to get the most out of it.

Think of 3 things that you are grateful for

These don’t have to be anything crazy. It can be as little as being grateful for your ability to see or your ability to walk.

There once was a teacher that asked her students to write the wonders of the world. Most of them wrote things like Machu Picchu or the Taj Mahal or the Great Wall of China. Then once child wrote down her sense of sight because she can see her loved ones; sense of hearing so she can hear her loved ones laugh; touch so that she can embrace her loved ones.

Stop focusing on something big to happen for you to be happy and start finding the little wins in your life that you can be grateful for.

Think of 3 People You Are Grateful For

You don’t know what you have until its gone. Make sure you let your loved ones know how much you appreciate them and thinking about this will let you know that no matter what hardship or challenges you may face.. you are not alone

Think of 3 Goals You Want to Accomplish.. But Frame It As If They Were ALREADY Accomplished

Instead of wishing and wanting, start being grateful as if you already accomplished it. Why? Because then you would start adopting the characteristics and habits of who you are when you are successful.. making you reach your goals faster.
